Cut the lines with a compound radial arm miter saw and glued in black plastic from a trashed boom box speaker enclosure. Dots are black plastic from a plastic rod in a trashed printer.

Bob, I hadn't thought of the record...it might just match up with a hacksaw blade width.
Bluesheart, thanks, I guess clean is the best I do. I don't go in for too many frills or ornaments. Simple and clean. My pottery is like that, too (i'm a studio potter.)
