Cuesta Rey Bridge

I was able to purchase a similar smaller Cuesta Rey cigar box and applied it to the headstock. Looks nice and really dresses the whole CBG up.I ended up remaking the nut out of a brass toilet bolt.

    I'm considering a wider headstock so I can incorporate more of the art and color from the cigar box into it.

  • There's a white edge that needs a thin line painted to cover it up you can't see in the pic. I tried to tape and spray and got a bit of bleed on the edges that is more apparant in this close up pic. Next time I need to use a small brush and hand paint the line. Over all I'm pleased. Appreciate all the positives!

  • I just did something like that with one of my builds, but I did it because I screwed up the headstock and needed something to cover it up. A piece of a broken box did the trick just fine.
