The ground wire would have been connected to the tail piece instead of the bridge if I wired a ground wire. I honestly don't remember how it is wired. That was a few years and three kids ago.
The neck is really narrow for 4 strings. No truss rod. The fingerboard is 1/4 inch oak and the neck is 1 by 2 oak. I probably should have rounded the back of the neck more. It is thick. It has a nice mellow sound. There is a lot less tension by using baritone guitar strings instead of bass strings.

is there a truss rod? how is the neck? Looks killer!
