Loved the one string I made, so I made a two string using a chocolate tin lined with 3mm ply and fitted with a piezo, garden rake handle for the neck with a cherry fret board

    I learned on a 3 string strum stick with this type of dulcimer fretboard. Fun and pretty easy to learn on. Looks just like your Cherry longneck.

    I have been changing the strings about on this, started with a "A, D", that sounded good ended up back with the A, D strings tuned to F and C, that seems to put out nice tunes. mind you I am hopeless at playing guitars myself but have a passion to learn, three strings were to much so I made a One string and learnt to play"Happy Birthday" I was so over the moon I had to have a two string, would love to get some basic music I can play on this and this fret board. Cheers.
