Here's a closeup of the body of CheeseBox 1... Damn That Lowe cone looks nice :) It's a Carpathian Spruce Top, BTW.

    Thanks for the compliments, Craig... I appreciate it. I wish I could take credit for the 'antiquing' job, but Old Lowe did it for me before he sent it (I requested an antique cone) I'm not sure how he stains them, but I assume it's with some sort of acid. HTH, J

    BTW, how did you "antique" the brass cone? I like that look, but I like the shiny brass, too.

    nice guitars, Jason. I just got my LoweCone in the mail and started building right away. gotta figure out the neck as it needs to drop 3/4" under that cone. Here's what I have so far...

    Thanks for the encouraging words! I get my resonator cones from a real cool dude right here on the nation, Old Lowe. You can do a search for him here, and he's super easy to deal with. The cones that I've used sound GREAT, and I couldn't be happier with them.
