Hand built ceramic banjo pot by Mama turtlehead done in the raku technique. Skin is ready to be trimmed. I attached the skin with regular Elmer's glue according to Janis Wilson Hughes' drum head demo. I didn't have the big hose clamp to help tighten it, so I put it on my drill press table, punched some holes in the skin and laced it up to the base of the press and then raised the table until it was tight. I also wrapped a bungee cord and zip ties around to hold the skin to the side as the glue dried. I think it worked!
