Possible. I was fumbling around where I found these tunings, I think on Scottys Music, and I found ALL of his tunings for 6, 8, and 10 strings. You will know when you are on the rightsite, the background is blue, and the tunings are listed vertically. When I get few, I will try to find them, and get you that page.......I am sure I can find it for sure!
Hey Dawg, i know there are a lot of tunings. I've got a great book on lap steel. Mostly about famous players from the past. It shows each player's favorite tunings. It's a life's work just trying them all. The book is "Lap Steel Guitar" by Andy Volk. I also have some good Mel Bay books on Hawaiian guitar with tab. I've not studied any of these a whole lot, but love the history. Most of the tunings i've tried have come on guitars i bought on ebay. They come in the mail tuned to new tunings. Fun stuff.....
Dave, there are many many tunings for 6,8, and 10 string laps.........just google, or look at Scotty's Music, and you can get some cool ones from there.....this is the jazz/love tuning......I hope........
I ran across the most cool hardwood place with reasonable prices here in town.....my next project might be a similar instrument with another type of exotic, and bucker or P-90, I don't care much for the string-through types.....can be a booger to fish....but live and learn for sure!
