This project features a home made box, since cigar boxes are rare here in China, I need to develop the skills to make my own. The box dimensions are 9.5" long x 7.5" wide x 4" deep. The walls are 0.25" thick and the laminated plywood sound board is about 3/16". The joints are simple butt joints re-enforced with corner blocks. The corner blocks are 0.75" x 0.75" by 3.75" long, leaving 1/8" on either end for the top and bottom "soundboards" to be glued on. There is also a small board glued onto the bottom of the soundboard to re-enforce where the bridge will be placed.
