CBG Oreo peg head

The design in "Make" magazine had the dang peg head too thin! Even after nipping off the ends of the screws that held the tuners on, they still burst through the top of the peg head. Ouch! Well, a piece of walnut top and bottom and I have an Oreo peghead.

    Not a big fan of the make magazine CBG, I've seen it done on TV a few times, rather cheesey . But, I like the oreo fix, nice save. To push the bushings in I use a small vice and a couple of thin wood rulers to protect the wood, snugs them up nice and tight without hammering.
