This neck is just laying in place and I am not sure I'll use it on the first cbg I make or not. I sure like the Gibson-like looks of the other head stock, but this one is specifically made for a 3 string guitar and that is what I am going for on my first build. This one is made of red oak, too, as is the other one I have. Nothing is finished out in this photo, but the parts are being lain out just to see what it may look like for final placement. Not quite sure as to sound holes at this point. I need to trim down the end piece if I go with this neck. Just getting some ideas as I go along on this project, so far. Going out to look over my supply of pop-rivets and see what may work, too. I'd like to look over some old gold plated silverware pieces to see what fabrication I may come away with if I decided to use one on the tailpiece to this first CBG.
