CBG #121263 is built plain and simple. The neck used to be the kitchen floor – it is recycled red oak floorboards with aspen for the accent strip. It is fully tapered and rounded for playability and bolts-on for transportability. The fretboard is a pretty piece of cherry with bloodwood bindings, 24-3/4" scale, with black mother of pearl fretmarkers. Sealed tuners, bone nut and bridge, aluminum neck plate and external tailpiece, and piezo transducer complete the CBG. I strung it up with 44-34-26 strings and tuned it G-D-G.
