Thanks for the comments. In defense, I was worried the string would hit the can's throat when plucked so I went a little higher when punching the hole (bridge) in the can's bottom. Plays ok for a single string. I'm happy with my first attempt at fretting.

Not too high for slide but I assume it is a dulcimer ish instrument, then to high to fret.
