The latest build. A steel cakemold turned out to be great for making a nice sounding gitty. I thought it had a bit of a banjo look to it. Tapping the cakemold gave me great resonance so I went for it. There is a kind of bell in the inside of the body with springs attached, it creates nice overtones and extra resonance. The fretboard has a half diatonic, half chromatic scale (starting at the 12th fret) And it has the blues note in there. It challenges new ways to play and it is very easy to play. All wooden parts are stained and finished with lineseed oil. Woodburned HighBird in the fretboard and painted a nice logo design on the backplate. This gitty has a piezo rod and preamp in it. Sounds great! And can be used as percussion too, especially amplified this sounds awesome!

Thanks, glad you like it! Lot's of people liked this one! I actually sold it! But before I did I made a recording for the customer. unfortunately my phone did not record it very nicely, the overtones you hear when you actually play it are not really coming through.. but it gives an impression!
