dont know if you can make the neck angle out from this picture but yes i added neck angle for a reason - so the string is playable and not sat on top of the box - also notice that the fretboard is higher than the box top this makes the neck playable right down to the end of the fretboard without the string fouling on the box top - most round neck diddleys have the neck set below the top of the box and are unplayable down near the box end of the neck - only way to get around the problem is to have silly high action and make the diddley a slide player only or do as i have done raise the neck above the box and have it a slide or finger player :)
