Yes, I like to be able to open them if you need to. You never know if you may have to tweek something. This box has a magnetic front edge that keeps it closed. No latch, so I had to screw it shut in a couple places.
Great job man! Love the the gold with the red, super nice looking gitty. I have been trying to score one of these boxes on my cigar store trips, no luck yet.

hey down at the end of the finger board is that so the box can still open ?
