  • Thanks so much, Fingerz!

  • BTW Peggy - I've admired your recent strummer picks as well!  Great work!

  • Peggy - thanks so much!  I did use a cheap scroll saw to cut the shape to match the body.  Then it took a heavy dose of sandpaper to get all the nooks and crannies the way I liked.  I don't think I used anything more sophisticated than that....  (Maybe a couple of small rasps....)

AGP - thanks man!  I'm partial to it as well!  Dowel pegged it in 4 places just to help ensure the string tension didn't rip it off - - probably overkill but it adds to the neat look, I think...

  • Beautiful Tailpiece, "Love It"  :-)

  • What a great job you did on the tailpiece.   The tools I have are so primitive that I have a hard time with my building.

  • Scott, MFJ and Uncle John - appreciate the comments!   This tailpiece just sort of morphed into existence as I pondered the design.  I like how it turned out!

  • Wow!

  • Beautiful job Gary

  • Great job, clean and classy.

  • Darryl - it sounds pretty nice!  Thanks, Pick!
