No marks or maker name I can find. Yes , it has paper inside, looks to be varnished over. I was told it was from the 20's, but who knows.
the bowl is rosewood.Normally in the inside there is paper covered to protect it from moisture.
search for bowl back mandolins..i think i have something similar.Any information about the builder?
