  • yeah try it...it takes awhile to make one, but I thought it was worth it!...btw I've just got myself a diamond cutting wheel for my mini drill, so am trying out making bottle neck slides : -)
  • This is awesome. I think I will have to try to make one of these.

    Been using a Lone Star bottleneck cut off with a dremel tool and this looks a lot more comfortable.
  • thanks, it was beef bone..and re the guitar, it was made by John McNair and that's how he likes to make them. He says it makes it easier if you're tilting the slide to use just on the low string, or high string to have the strings near the edge so you don't hit the board so easily with your slide.
  • Nice looking slide and fret board. 2 questions? What bone was used? And why are your strings spaced so wide?
