Yes, the back is padauk. Nice African redwood, but the wood dust is quite toxic somewhat like cedar or
walnut. I have to wear a mask when sanding any of that wood. The guitar was based on the Les Paul shape,
but I decided to do some other experiments with it like a 25.5 scale instead of the standard Les Paul scale
and of course, it's a neck through semi-hollow. The position markers are green abalone and there is a
a headstock emblem as well..I don't think I included it.
