Yeah, Steve wanted a 2 string. The only other bass I did was 3 string. Steve saw T-Bone Wolk playing one with Hall and Oates way back (can't imagine on what song!). It's set up to be really dubby with the pups well forward and flatwounds for a dark fat sound. He'll use it for dub/reggae sort of stuff.
