  • Thanks 126.  After hearing from you and talking to the Maddog, I am not going to drill to screw down the pot lid.  Will most likely silicone it down.

  • Thanks Dave! The finish was a bit of an accident- it was apparently too cold when I sprayed the clear and it dried white. I buffed it out with a 3M pad and this was the result!
  • Two big bold beauties. Love the sanded finish. Farm machinery and worn sauna seats... Boil that cabbage down.

  • It's very close, you'll probably get more porcelain blow-out if you are going to drill through it to fasten with screws. Since I used a bowl, it dropped down into the well and I used epoxy to hold it in, and didn't need to drill into it
