I got a nice small Vox amp yesterday at Music Go Round. Nice sound at an easy price. Big Red sounds good through the Vox. The red Tele is a Christmas gift for a grandchild who knows how to play it... My old amp will go to his house to live with Red.

Sounds like a project brewing. Love to see the pictures. Does the neck unscrew? The tele neck on Big Red was bright green till i took it off. It snowed again today. Only a dusting, but it's sticking. Looks a lot like this photo... Dave
Guy feels the same about his mate, cost him a pretty penny to have it overhauled but it sounds great and like yourself he loves it. Picked up a cheap electro acoustic with a broken head stock, not sure how to tackle it and it's pink but a makeover and it could have a second life. Not a vintage model but something to learn from Dave. Will send some picks and maybe you could give me a tip or two, all the best mate, Chris. :)
Hi Dave, the Vox amp looks identical to one that Guy has, it's his pride and joy, if you look at the Soberskin video "Prototype" that comes up after the Ashbone video or on facebook you can just make out the Vox amp to the bottom left of the picture, the video was the last one Guy and Gavin (bass player) made together before Gavin went to Madrid to live so it pulls my heart strings a bit. He is marrying Maria in September so I don't think he will ever come back to England except on visits. Let me know what you think mate, Chris. :)
Nice Chuck, I've got to reduce the population in my home, the kids love these things. A good fit where you all win except the mom's..... I've got no money for "presents", I've spent it all on guitars....
