Dave - sign me up! Guess when you and Uncle John pick me up on the way to Holland for Andries' workshop, we could divert to Manila to lay down our tracks. Just requires more snacks.

By the way, the guy on the right packin heat is our body guard Chili. The guy to his left isn't as mean as he looks. He plays a mean washtub though.

I could fudge a Fudge tune. I do like Mani and the Stubs for a band name. We'd have to record in Manila of course. Want to join the band?

Thanks Bluesheart, Chris. This build is tickling me. I got the sound holes in today and tuners, nut, tailpiece, saddle and bridge made and installed. Just the soundpost to make and install and I can string her up. I'll antique the neck tonight. Oil paint washes of reddish colors I think. It never really got very warm in my shop today. It stayed below zero outside all day despite sunshine.

And speaking of song names, 'Manila Stubs' strikes me as a GREAT band name! (You might be required to play a 'Vanilla Fudge' cover, or two.....)
