frets are in neck is ready ,on to the tailpiece and thinking on the paint job doi go for the Classic look (Sunburst)or the faded used look ?

I use left over sheet metal from furnace ducts. It may be zinc metal. For the basics it is fine and I like working with it. I have not tried to get intricate like you doing the BCB letters.
Hope so to john, ill try it out acousticly before diciding on a pickup, got the zink metal for the string holder, its stronger then aluminium ,but its harder to work on, did you ever use decorations on one?
