I’d nagged Ben a little re the custom tops- as birch ply is so hard to work without a laser cutter, why not have an f-hole option? So he emailed me to say he’d added it, and I straightaway ordered my altered Studebaker laser cut (that’s when I got the free box). I’d always wanted to build an acoustic to tune to low EEB, and this, with a poplar neck cut to a 26” scale, was ideal.
