  • Thanks everyone for your kind words. I'm not sure how to reply to individual comments on this site.

  • Nice job Brendt and welcome aboard!

  • Nice 1st build Cobber, also being an Aussie, I'm a big fan of Arnott's Bicky Tin Builds, have built several of different types, and still have a few tins left in the shed, and cannot walk past one when I'm searching through Op Shops etc., usually as cheap as chips at around 50cents or a Dollar  :-D

  • Good job and neat tin.  I suggest you go to page top under Resources/How to play and find knotlenny's cbg 101.   Or just google it.  Good lesson.

  • Yep I daresay I will build another when I find the right box/can. There's still stuff I want to do with this one - the neck is pine, which I found out after I started was not a great idea. It works and hasn't bowed yet (mostly because I've got light gauge strings on it), but I may replace the pine with a hardwood if it breaks. The tin is an ANZAC biscuit tin (it's an Australian thing). • Now that you got that out of the way, you can build another

  • Thanks. I'm going to post more photos as well as a description of my first build.
