Follow on album showing photos from my quick build challenge. Yep I made it on time 7 Hours (not counting gluing time). Built my first 4 string and a matching combi amp. The TEXAS LONGHORN. Basic specs. Licence plate, oak and plywood soundbox, oak neck , Piezo saddle pickup, frets burnt it, beaten and branded to look like it has been on the range a while. Really enjoyed making it. Couple of minor screwups. The distance from the tailpiece to the bridge caused problems with tension on the bridge so I fitted a string puller downer. Couple of other minor screw up that I managed to bodge through.
How does it play ? The best Ihave made yet - even Mrs Bo came in to look what I was playing and remarked how nice it sounded.

The amp is semi finished - currently has an 1/2 watt circuit in it. I am gonna fit a 3or 4 w in at at a latter stage. Sound OK though and Mrs Bo thought it looked pretty cool with the CBG.
Has my new signature pewter animal (cow in this case) on the headstock. I still have an elephant, zebra, giraffe, hippo and lion left to use. Videos with me attempting to play it:
