Well as I figured I've already made some changes to my design, some out of necessity, some from choice. I salvaged a piezo and scrounged a Fender single pup from a friend for nothing. I tried inleting the neck for the pup and had to dig deep enough that I hit the steel flatbar I used for my truss rod, arghhhh! There were things about the neck I didn't like anyway so I chucked it and started fresh. I like this new one much better. After inleting the pup I realised there wasn't enough space between my sound holes in the top to accomodate the length of the pup. So I just turned my top around 180 deg. I've seen sound holes on other CBG's at either end so I don't think I'll be too concerned about it. I'll be amped anyway most of the time and I never figured this build would be a great acoustic beast anyway. Lots to learn yet, I'm having a ball !!!!!!

The first pics of my first build. I don't have a cigar box so I'm starting there to make one. Most of the wood is from an old mahogany door skin and door frame. I'd like to add two piezieo's one high frequency and the other low frequency. I'll put one under the bridge, the other somewhere where it sounds best. Any suggestions are greatfully received!
