Blue Bird

I have never posted photos of my very first build! This was where it started for me. A small diddley bow..it is made of a small cigar box that I had when I was a child. I fount a broomstick and made my first instrument. At first it had just a screw to hold the string to tension, later upgraded by a tuner. I gave it a kind of tribal paintjob and glued some old african stamps on it that I had from my childhood. And at the tail I put my worn of first drumsticks. It is piezo amplified. I call it Blues Bird, because it is blue and the diddley bow played a big role in the beginnings of the blues. And that suits the fact that this one I build played a big part in the start of what I like to do most: build instruments and play my own instruments!
