AGP #463 - “Lil Ornelas”
3 String Fretless Cigar Box Guitar
Strings: .044NW .030NW .020NW
Tuned: G D g
Yet another Small Guitar Box which has found a new home surrounded by a recycled Cedar and Queensland Walnut (Endiandra palmerstonii) frame.
The Laminated Neck and Headstock Wings are a combination of 6 different timber scrap offcuts, the Neck, Box frame and 6” x 6½” x 1¼” Cigar Box were given 3 coats of Shellac.
A 4.9k 4 Pole Delta Type Single Coil Pickup is hardwired to a Chrome Cylinder Flush Mounted Output Jack, and grounded to the underside of the 3 String Hardtail Bridge. :)

Still have a supply of small boxes, might give the "Lil Box Builds" a rest for a while, but there will be more done in the future, the pic shows the ones I still have left, the bottom two on the left, have a vintage look about them, and have since been brought into the Music Cave, to be used as little storage boxes. :-)

Yes, sir. That box and neck alone would not have good proportions. Looks really nice as you did it. Maybe you should consider building more of these.
