3 String Fretless Guitar
Strings: .042NW .028NW .019NW
Tuned: G D g
The Body & Fretboard is Recycled Radiata Pine, the Neck is Recycled Merbau, coated with a Brown Stain and Citronella Lamp Oil, which has been gathering dust in the shed for a few years, worked well, smells nice & should keep the Mozzies away!
After 450 odd builds, which equates to abt 1,350 Machine Heads, your bound to get a few that are a bit worse for wear, or shoddily made, the three mismatched ones used here have been rescued by the addition of new geared cogs, the String Ferrules are ⅛ inch Rivet pieces.
A 6.2k MGB Mini Box Bucker Pup is wired through Vol and Tone Pots to the Output Jack, the Jack & Vol Tone plates are offcuts of Galvanised Roofing Strap. :-)
