AGP #353 - ''Bundy Bear''

AGP #353 - “Bundy Bear”(3 String Fretted Guitar) - Scale: 628.65 mm / 24¾ inchesStrings :.044NW/.030NW/.020NW/ - Tuning : G/D/g/The Body, Neck and Nut is Grey Ironbark, the Fretboard is Merbau, the Loaded Flying V Pickguard is a Chinese Ebay purchase, the Skull Machine Heads and Control Knobs have been sitting in the shed waiting to be used for a few years, and I thought this Build was an appropriate build to fit some of them on, the Body has several coats of White Enamel Gloss Paint from a Spray Can applied, but it never ceases to amaze me how the Camera’s on the Android Phones most of us use these days, can hide blemishes & flaws etc., because I can assure you!, the Paint Work on this build is very ordinary to say the least, mainly due to my impatience in awaiting the correct amount of time between coats and the final drying time, that unhappy with the result that I thought about stripping it back and changing it to a Rustic Weathered type build, but with the bits of paint I’ve managed to dislodge & smear so far, it’s already starting to have a Vintage well used look to it, so will probably stay as is. :-D

  • "Thanks Lonman", I'm a big fan of the Flying V, this is the second one I've done using cheap Chinese Ebay Loaded Pickguards, and have plans to build a few more in the future using my own type of Pickguard design and combination of Pickups etc, even cut out a couple of templates to make the process a little easier  :-)

  • Wow, I have wanted to make a flying V inspired 3 string for quite some time and seeing you and others make them really inspire me. Thank you for sharing, very awesome work you do,

  • "Thanks Dave", It goes against my "Tight Ass" ways, but this one cost a bit more than my usual builds, and is a bit fancier than normal, "But I Like It".  :-)

  • That’s absolutely Fancy AGP. Top notch Ausicaster!

  • "Thanks Bob", Yes!, Ice Cool and Glacial, however! the contents of our Famous Yummy  Queensland "Bundaberg Rum" does "Warm the Body and Soul"   :-)

  • "Thanks Denbo", for the Painting Tips message, it is heading for a Repaint!  :-)

  • Stunning and Ice Coooool.... "Glacial" even!

  • "Thanks Pick", exactly what it is, a "Holy White Sheet" :-D

  • "Thanks Poorness Studios", appreciate the kind comment  :-)

  • "Thanks UJ', put a bit more time & money into this one than usual, sounds great, a pity about the Paint job though, don't think I will ever master the art of the Spray Can or Paint Brush, will stick to the Indigenous Dot Art, Stain & Natural style in future  :-)
