5 string cello = success!

it all works.proof of concept: the low F string is made with an A from a bass guitar set. it works great. a little sloppy, but only just. just make the bridge a little higher on the bass side and it'll be fine.note: USE FLAT WOUND!! I got a round wound string for speed and cheapnesses sake, and it works, but dosen't bow. I wanted it as a 'mini double bass' section to the cello, so only want to play it plucked, so it works for me. having a round wound string means the bow is really grating and horrible, and i think its damaging the bow itself. flat wound would work much better. shame on me for being impatient.
