  • Thanks Jerry! I don't have much of a shop. I've built up some tools over the years though. I have a delta table saw, a Dewalt planer, and a off brand bench top drill press....oh and a harbor freight dust collector. Other than that, some home made jigs as I figure out what I need and normal power tools like a drill, sander and jig saw
  • nice workmanship and woods.,.,always envious of your shop and jigs .,.,that should be 5 nice guitars.,.,keep up the good work.,.,!!

  • You're right. Walnut always looks good! Im thinking I like the sound from a maple neck better.
  • A variety is nice, but that walnut has such great character that you don't need anything else.

  • Thanks TJ! Yes, walnut. A buddy gave me a 8 footer that was just over an inch thick and about 12" wide. It's nice to get the free stuff! I made a bunch of necks and fretboards with it. I like using a variety of woods in one guitar, but free is free so I'm using it up!
  • Very nice. Walnut?

  • Thanks Uncle John!
  • Very nice work.
