Built 6 of these this past week in 4H Summer Camp. I cut and glued necks before camp then we did the rest on site. Had 5 13-15 y.o. students plus we built one for the camp director. They turned out pretty good and the kids had a ball building and learning to ‘slide’ on three strings! Red Oak necks, mahogany bridges, 6mm all-thread for the nuts, brass rod for the saddles. Lots of paint and creativity by the campers.
