  • Hi Jess: I Goggled, ”turning a cassette player into an amp”. I just followed that but I removed it from the original housing. My wife had an old cassette player and I stripped the mother board. I removed it where the cassette was attached put my Guitar plug in place. If I remember correctly it was that simple. I discarded the cassette recording mike to lessen the wires. Now getting it to fit inside the box took some staring at and creativeness. But it kept me from being a couch potato. By using this method I should have an internal Gain, (which does work), headphone attachment as well as 110 power when I need it. However I have not utilized all these other options yet. I have only played it off the 2C cell batteries. It’s fun too. I have attached 2 links that I just looked at for your review. Have fun!

  • Tim: Since I am not an electronic wizard, I have avoided attempting to build an amp, but I would like to try. Can you tell me where to get plans and what list of items I would need to put something together? Thanks.
  • Thanks Jess,
The wiring and Battrie set up would probably rase some questions. Fun build and sounds pretty good to. Suprised me for sure.

    Thanks again.
    TIGGER!!
  • Hi: I like your stuff, and I'd really like to see the look on the airport screeners face if you tried to take this little rascal through a security check point. It would be worth the price of admission. {:-)=
