  Thanks guys.  The fret board was an idea that went south.  I was trying to make a laminated neck and I should have used a flat  surface or caul because it bowed on me.  I  cut it up into fret boards.  I was building this to sell to please the boss but the acoustics and string action is telling me to keep it.
