Elmar's are great! The first magnetic pickup I used, I think. I installed one on my 2nd guitar and I have several of the 1 string versions and more 3-string versions from him. All great.
I recently started buying Humidor Guitars 5-string Thinbuckers which Dan made in cooperation with Elmar. They sound equally good.
