This is my first. I hadn't even read the first thing about building one. I had seen my friends cigar box the night before. I bought me some tuning machines, turned a bowl, put a stick on it, and screwed the lid shut. Yes, those are drywall screws.White oak neck and cherry bowl. The white oak came down in Hurricane Floyd and we had it milled years ago.

Honestly, it sounded awful. Wasn't loud at all and wouldn't stay in tune for nothing. It was fun to sit around on the couch with for a few weeks while I figured out my second build though.
