Got a call from the owner of the cigar bar where I have some gits on consignment. He told me a customer wanted a 4 stringer using a Java box. Just finished this: Maple neck with Colonial Maple stain to match box, laminated scarfed headstock with gold tuners. 24" scale purpleheart fretboard and bridge to match Java label, ebony saddle. Dual piezos under lid. Nice action, sounds better than I thought the thick box would.
