Sweet. It'll most likely take a diy box unless you find two small ones to pair up.

Just a thought about pickups...Kid has had good results mounting a mag under the plate to avoid cutting. Acoustic strings made the plate vibe plenty for the mag to do its job.

I'm sure you'll figure out something cool.

A lot of the old timers were long.  Maddog has used a long Nebraska and a long Kansas.  

I like it and would kind of hate to cut into it, but might do so.   Nice center bare spot for either a saddle or pickup.   I think I would build a long box, use the plate center for the bridge and use a black mag pup but not on the plate.

Best bet is to make your own box. Then you can make one the the size you're looking for.
