  No appologies. You make a great point. I never knew that and now I do. I have to remove the strings to do some nut adjustments anyway so Ill see if I can reposition the tuners as well. Thanks!

  oo, sorry Tracy, just a comment on tuner mounting. the gears should be on the nut side. tension can pull the gears apart in time thats all.
