  Hey Matt - I bought white - black - white plastic binding from Stew Mac and used a trim router to cut the channel for the groove. The trick is the finish part either way you have to be good with tape. If you need more information let me know. Jim

  Hi mate thanks for your comment.Its a 3cm by 2cm neck with a scarf joint then i added about 1cm to each side of the headstock and shaped it.should really put some veneer on it to finish it off
