How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?: Already a user but can't access...so set up this new one

How many instruments have you built so far?: 5++

What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).: Easy to make and provide lots of enjoyment personally. My friends and acquaintances also find them of great interest. I will make my next one with a shorter scale length than the 24.75 inches I have been using so far. I find this fret spacing/size a little difficult to master so I think I'll go for a 23.75 inch scale next time.
I have also made a few ukuleles, tenor and concert mainly.

scale length vs personal physical characteristics??

Because I found the scale length I used to make the guitars I have given up playing them as the neck and fret spacing was to long/wide for me.

Consequently I went for ukuleles which I find more playable and manageable. After trying the different sizes I like the tenor best, closely followed by the baritone.

I will do another guitar in the future possibly using the 23" scale length suggested to me...that makes it 4 inches longer than a baritone uke...so I am still not sure.…
