No ! its cald a voice Box ,you plug your guitar in to it, then the sound comes out the speaker in to a tube , the tube goes in your mouth, and you reproduce the sound in to a microphone, and the shape of your mouth and manipulations whit your toung produses that spesific talking guitar effect,

Thanks richard ! at present im in the proces of building a new one ,3 string tabacco tin ,waiting on pickups, and small hardware to finisch ,and see how she play's,appriciatethe kind comments and your right i added the rhitmo afterworth and by the hear of it ,its a bit off, sometimes you get a booBoo, shit happens!

CTG Stands for Cigar Tin Guitar , you know i got inspired by those missisippi drum and fife trio´s and found out that the irish have there own lambegg drum & fife ,so i figured that something to fool around whit ,got a drum kit in the seller  for the oldes son, so, asked cris wind if i can use some  of the fife playing, and went from there realy, that whit the dobro, came later, com think of i use to blow the fife still have a picolo somewhere Mmmmm so maybee there is still one more to go in that drum serie. for life playing i need the son to go but he is verry busy at the moment just finisch a festifal he got 4 place fro 17 groeps did a new thing in a theater on a stage he was verry nerfous, but pulled it off oke !

Food for thought: A CallyFest Zoom jam for Cigar Box Nation enthusiasts. I am willing to host it. We could use songs from the Slinger’s GDG 1-finger songbook. Only 250+ songs to choose from. I could lead the songs or we could share the leadership of the songs. You choose the leaders and they choose the song or songs they want to lead. Once the songs have been chosen, I can create a downloadable songbook of the songs for the jam in the order we do them. We can normally do 15 songs in an hour or so. I’ve got some ideas for interaction between the participants that is more Zoom friendly. If we do the Zoom session early in CallyFest, I can record it and then break out the songs and post them and/or post the whole jam at CBN. What do you think?

Thanks for the green light Richard! If you don’t have a PC, you must be using someone else’s or a tablet or a phone; Zoom is free app for all. It would be great if you could Zoom with us. I am going to touch base with a few CBN regulars that I hope will be willing to cohost the jam with me. If they are game and we can nail down a date and time, I will post it on the events page as a first step in getting the word out. This could be a great opportunity to connect in a new way. I currently Zoom with a weekly CBG builders group in Sacramento hosted by Will King here at CBN and I really enjoy interacting with the guys! Will keep you posted.
