Thanks a ton for posting those inside pictures of your build. Lots of good ideas in there - feeling more confident about my next build already! Thanks!
Thanks for the info on the p'up location for your Regulator Resonator. I really appreciate the help. I'll give that a shot. I have a cone from Old Lowe, via SmokeStack, it looks and rings great. Should come out sweet.
Thanks for the comments on the hot rod. That's my baby. My better 1/2 and I enjoy running around in the '31. It's pretty much all I drive unless it's snowing. Those tires don't do well in the snow.
Hi Jim thanks for the invite mate :) - yes the Bottle cut-out on the Plank guitars is a pain in the ass to do but it needs to be a good fit as the bottle is heald in place under string tension and not actually glued or any other means - i used the dremel in a router base to cut the hole out nice and steady but takes forever lol !
hiya Jim sorry to only just get back to you on your reply - i have not been receiving email alerts so until i just saw your reply i had no idea you had actually replied !
anyway thanks for your reply - good to hear that you got on ok with the Plank - still fancy owning one myslf one day lol ! dont seem to be able to hang onto them - i have made three for myself and have sold them all hehe!
yes your Clitsch turned out really nice so much so that i fancy trying one myself at some point - well done mate a great job all round
Cheers mate most kind of you - i must say that fitting them JD bottles is the hardest part as they are just a friction fit heald in by a good fit and the downward pressure from the strings - i think the next Plank i make is going to have one of my new Cast alloy Bridges fitted really want to try one on a solid body :) - yep to date i have sold 9 Planks each one slightly different
sweet mate i know whare to come for some dye then cheers :)
still not getting email updates don't know what the problem is i have not alterd any settings !!!!! oh well
I am curious as to what kind of amp you were using on the video. I have a old Vox amp that sounds a lot like that. Also, do you all sell those pickups, if so how much and shipping costs to 73773. Thanks again, great sound.
