Hi Lowe, I am interested in adding a resonator to a Applause acoustic bass guitar. Your spun brass cones look very cool and they have an integral mounting ring, correct? That would really simplify my build. Do you ever, or would you consider, building a cone in a larger size, say 8.25" to 9.5"? I'd need a cone, cover plate, biscuit, saddle, and trapeze. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. If you want to continue this conversation privately, please just email me at GZboat@yahoo.com. Thank you for your time.

I am a little confused. I saw this ad on ebay for 7.25" O.D. cones (aluminum) constructed by you.

This page says your cones are brass and 6.5" O.D. Do you make a 7.25" O.D. spun brass cone? Do you think it would take the downward pressure of 30" bass strings? Would it accommodate a 3" biscuit for the bridge? The normal string spacing for this bass is 2&5/16" from E to G. I like the look of your brass cones and covers. I would like to use them to add a resonator to an acoustic bass guitar if they would work. Thank you for your time and attention. My email remains GZboat@yahoo.com
