thanks for your like There AGP# just wisch i knew before hand what the layer of lacker on the teardropbox whoed do to the sound, i have the ideer it dampens the wood,maybee in time when the layer hardens out the sound gets better, but for now i am content whit the more bass sound, thats probebly way these old time violin builders have these secret formulars for there lacker. But if i had looked more carefull to the other Dulcimers there are verry fjew that are Painted!! THANKS AND Greeeeeettsssszzz A.D.
