Hey, Graham. If I remember correctly, it was the basic E and A from a pack of bass strings. (The 2 fattest strings from a pack)
I MIGHT have had those two strings tuned down to D and G...It's been awhile since I made the video, so I can't be 100% certain. It would either be D/G or E/A. On the bass, I had to hang out in that area because I'm not normally a bass man.

Graham...one thing to note is that the bass was left-handed, but I played it right. It was flipped around, so that the fatter E was on bottom instead of ontop. I couldn't play it lefty, so I had to turn it upside down.
