Hey Delvero, so far we're on the same page as far as music goes! You should check out the "I am Trying to Break Your Heart" documentary by Sam Jones if you haven't already. Really good stuff about the recording of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, and some great Jeff Tweedy solo performances too. All that's missing is a few CBGs.
hey bro congrats on the dbl-neck contest---you topped the top with the harp guitar, totally amazing build. i still am always inspired by the things you build, even when i was just a little feller here, you amazed me. now i have grown a little and its nice to know i was growing with folks like you and many others here that i have learned so many things from. once again man congrats---i think you opened the eyes of many cigar box guitar builders and proved that there are no limits to the amazing craft possibilities in the realm of cigar box guitar design and construction!!!!!! you have become legend Sir Delvero..
hey mike, i've been away for long time in various projects and films. now i'm back and so i'll start again to finish 2 cbgs one of them will become a resonatorguitar. further i'm workin' on a light dolly for my movieworks in aluminium. then i was allso in germany to see my family and what a tragedy- one of my brothers in law died in june 11. so i had a stormy time but know it's time to return on the nice things of life.
hope u're fine bro
see u next time
thanx mike for the nice comment. the next days i'll finish a new cbg and it's one of the boxes u brought over to palermo. i bought the cd of keni to learn 3string cbg. wanna play them really.

Thank you for the nice comment. But I have to tell you I think we are the ones getting the better deal...Matti is awesome....Still love these builds of yours.... Take care, Jim
Amazing playing and singing. Awesome instrument. He is a very talented young man. You guys did a great job on the video too. Thank you for bringing it to life for us all to hear.
Hey chief, same here and what a WONDERFUL double neck you built. I love seeing other's work. Hey, I'll keep an eye out for you today. We'll chat some more.
I see you are from Romeo MI! I've been there. Went to work on some security cameras a few years ago. Nice little town.
So I was listening to the last set of Shane and there were these two girls that came in after you. Both might have been with some guys, i wasn't sure. But one was quite ... drunk. She had on this pinstripe button down shirt with the front buttons open except for the bottom three. No bra. B cup. Later on, she unbuttons the last three buttons and ... well you get the idea. very interesting evening.
Hey, D - Hi from Nashville & a big thank you for the B'day wishes! I had a great one!...Hey, I haven't checked your page for a while - wow, these are the coolest builds! Totally inspiring! ~ Joni
Delvero,
Send me an e mail and I will send you the name of a soldier in afganistan and you can contact him personally. The soldier offered to pay the shipping cost, and you can find that at the post office. It will be an APO address so not to expensive anyhow.... is my email address....thanks, Ricky Martin
howdy delvero--about the question of the can support---i didn't use any internal support in the can but the bolt that goes thru the back of the box that holds the no-knot tailpiece, goes thru the can also and i also put a 1/4in. thick block under the can and screwed it to the sides of the cigar box.i added the under can support cause the cigar box has a cardboard bottom(2 ply) and cut the hole thru the cigar box top where the bridge goes thru cause the top is also cardboard(4 ply) so the can was also my solution to get more volume from a cardboard top and bottom box. the can is strong enough where the bridge sets cause its very close to the edge of the can where it is closed in. thanks for your question and your interest in the nefta project.
Hello, Your wife introduced herself to a couple of Minnesota guys (my bro and I) at the KC CBG fest....very nice lady! Your daughter was there too, but too shy to say hi! Shoulda been there man....had a great time!
Hello my friend, Thanks again for the fun this week end. Lobe the uke and it sounds great I will record something with it soon and post it so you can hear what it sounds like. Too much fun to play. It was great to meet you. Take care my new friend.
Thanks for the really great comments on the video. I am really more comfortable building instruments then playing them. That's not stopping me though.... I hope someday to post something that doesn't make me cringe. As for builders I am always amazed by your stuff.... Not to mention I'll never forget the Harp Cigar box you built.... or the bench either BTW lol...
so do you my friend---you are a great inspiration to me and many others and i always look forward to see things you build because the inspiration of your builds tryly amaze me.
Nice of you to say... I am really pleased with the four string.... It's been a while but I see you still have a pretty nice place here. Thanks again , Jim
Thanks, give me some time, i am trying to set up with a good maker, i dont want to make a zazzle or cheapo shirt online, so i need to have the art vectorized and done right, but i do plan on it soon!
Delvero, I accepted your friendship request, thanks. It will be nice to see how that guitar was made. Haven't even made my first yet. Collecting some stuff, and needing to go buy some blades, clamps, sandpaper, and what not, to get going. Again that was a really nice build. Keith
I wish I could say yes, but it would be very difficult to find one. Not to say that they are not out there. It was difficult to find the 50 we did find. 4 more have surfaced in recent weeks but they are all highly cherished by their owners. Some owners don't value them and some do.

Hi Delvero, if you would like to buy some of my boxes or tins just let me know and we can figure out which ones in my pics that you are interested in.
Cardboard boxes are $2.00 each and wood boxes are $5.00 each with the exception of a few wood ones that I am going to be using myself. Brian
